Hi, I'm Robyn!

I’m a public relations account executive for The McGraw Agency, a full-service communications and marketing firm based in New York City. We specialize in media relations programs and creative campaigns for design firms and home furnishings brands in a variety of practice areas including Architecture, Interior Design, Home Furnishings, Retail & E-commerce, Media Brands, Art, Not-for-Profits, and Special Events. Acclaimed for its results-oriented and truly hands-on approach, McGraw PR prides itself on offering a level of personal service to its clients that is uncommon at other firms.

With a formal background in editorial, my journalism, poetry, and creative nonfiction have been featured or are forthcoming in publications like The Washington Post, Daily Drunk Mag, Your Dream Journal, Stone of Madness Press, Dwelling Literary, and others. I also write book reviews for the independent feminist magazine BUST.

Most recently I was a marketing and production assistant at Brooklyn indie publisher Turtle Point Press, and an events assistant at Strand Book Store in Manhattan. I loved to ask authors what animal they would ride into battle.

I have also worked with luxury interior design B2B media brand Business of Home, and interned with Rachael Ray Every Day with the American Society of Magazine Editors’ internship program.

In 2018, I graduated from James Madison University in Virginia, where I studied journalism, creative writing, and environmental humanities. A few years before that, I was born in Ft. Lewis, Washington, the youngest of two. My father was an Army colonel and my mother was a stay-at-home mom.
